Day 1 YOUR COUNTRY - SANTIAGO DEL CHILE

Day 2 BIENVENIDOS A SANTIAGO
Pick up from Santiago Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Tour of the city, starting in the “Barrio” (quarter) El Golf, where you see examples of the city’s avant-garde architecture. After this you visit the Barrio Cívico which contains the government buildings and the cultural centre. From here you take a walk through the main streets of the city centre towards the main square, “Plaza de Armas,” where you will be able to admire the splendour of the buildings that surround the square: La Catedral, El Correo, IIlustre Municipalidad de Santiago, etc. The tour then takes you to the Barrio Bella Vista, famous for its lively night life. Return and overnight stay at the Ritz Carlton Hotel or a similar hotel of the same category.
Day 3 SANTIAGO - CALAMA - SAN PEDRO DI ATACAMA
Transfer to Santiago Airport. Flight to Calama . Pick up from Loa Airport. Transfer to the Awasi Hotel (in a round suite) in San Pedro de Atacama. Afternoon tour chosen from the menu of excursions. (B, D)
From Day 3 to Day 6
The AWASI Lodge is a boutique hotel (it has only 8 rooms) in San Pedro de Atacama. In an ancient country house, surrounded by a historic wall that over the years has offered protection to shepherds and wayfarers – the hotel, made of stone, wood and clay, continues to offer travellers a roof for the night – and an unforgettable experience in the Atacama Desert. Full day tour chosen from the menu of excursions. Transfer to Calama Airport. Return flight to Santiago. Pick up at the airport. Transfer to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. (B)
Day 7 SANTIAGO - VALPARAISO
The tour departs for the Casablanca valley, famous for its white wines. Stop off for some winetasting at a vineyard. We reach Valparaíso - a UNESCO world heritage site – with its blend of history and modernity, set in a large bay with a backdrop of high mountain peaks. The city climbs up the hillside, criss-crossed by streets, alleyways, steps and passages (the characteristic cerros and ascensores). There'll be a tour of the main tourist sites and then we continue along the coast and arrive at Viña del Mar. Free lunch in local restaurant. Overnight stay at the Boutique hotel Casa Higueras at Valparaiso. (B)
Day 8 VALPARAISO - ISLA NEGRA - SAN ANTONIO - SANTIAGO
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Isla Negra, a seaside resort where you can visit the house-museum of the Nobel prize winning poet Pablo Neruda. Built in 1939 out of stone and wood, with a design that makes it look like a large boat it hosts a number of collections of interest to anyone who loves poetry. Continue along coast towards “Viña Casa Marín”, a vineyard only 4 km from the Pacific Ocean. This vineyard has managed to produce wines of great quality and great personality. The Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Gewürztraminer and the Riesling are particularly worth tasting. Return to Santiago. Overnight stay at the Ritz Carlton (B, L)
Day 9 SANTIAGO - YOUR COUNTRY (Not included in the price)
Transfer to the airport. International return flight. (B)
