Day 02 BIENVENIDOS A SANTIAGO
Morning pick up from Santiago airport. Private transfer to your hotel with an English speaking guide. Rest of the day free – we will give you advice on the best Santiago has to offer in terms of culture, shopping and relaxation. Overnight stay at the 4 star Atton Hotel or a similar hotel of the same category.
Day 03 SANTIAGO - TEMUCO - PUCON
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the bus terminal. Bus from Santiago-Temuco (about 6 hours travelling). Pick up and transfer to the car rental office where your car will be waiting for you. Complete the documentation for the car. Start of the “Do it yourself” part of your adventure. Drive from Temuco and Pucón (approximately 112 km). Arrive and check-in to the Termas de Huife Hotel or a similar hotel of the same category. (Br)
The regions of Pucón and Villarrica have much to offer the traveller: volcanoes, lakes, thermal baths etc. and also offer a wide range of outdoor activities: trekking, rafting, climbing volcanoes, horse-riding. The area is the land of the ancient indigenous tribe, the “Indios Mapuches”.
2 nights at the Hotel & Termas de Huife
The Hotel Termas de Huife is 40 km from Pucón and close to the Huerquehue National Park. The hotel has its own open air natural thermal baths, located on the banks of the River Liucura and is surrounded by 300 hectares of indigenous forest which you can explore to admire the “araucarias” (60 million year old Chilean evergreen coniferous trees) and the volcanoes.
Day 05 PUCON - HUILO HUILO
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast make your way to the Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve (approximately 122 km). Arrive and check-in to the Bao Bab Hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the area or take a trip. Overnight stay. (Br) www.huilohuilo.cl

Located in the middle of the Patagonian Andes of Chile, the Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve has 100.000 hectares of forest – both dry and rain - and in 2006 it was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site because it is home to such a wide variety of endemic flora and fauna. In the middle of this marvellous natural reserve, two unique hotels have been developed: the Montaña Mágica Lodge and the Baobab Hotel, both designed and built to blend in with the nature that surrounds them.
Day 07 HUILO HUILO - VALDIVIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Make your way from Pucón to Villarrica (approximately 165 Km). Arrive at Valdivia, capital of the “ Región de los Rios”, a river port and one Chile’s most beautiful cities. It was founded by the Spanish Conquistadors in 1552 and was an important centre during the wars against the “mapuches”. Overnight stay at the Naguilan Hotel or a similar hotel of the same category. Day 08 VALDIVIA - PUERTO VARAS
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast make your way to Puerto Varas (approximately 193 km). One of the possible routes from Valdivia to Puerto Varas takes you through the stunning “Región de los Lagos” – the Lake District. Day 11 PUERTO MONTT - PUNTA ARENAS - PUERTO NATALES
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to Puerto Montt Airport to get flight to Punta Arenas. Pick up at Punta Arenas Airport and private transfer with English speaking guide to Puerto Natales. The journey will take you through the beautiful “Magellano Patagonian pampas” and you can admire the local wildlife: ostriches, sheep and cows. Day 12 BOAT TRIP TO THE BALMACEDA GLACIER
Morning trip in a boat across the “Ultima Esperanza Sound” to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. The trip will take you past a colonies of cormorants and sea lions. We will disembark to take a short walk to get as close as possible to the Serrano Glacier and admire its 1,000 year old ice. Lunch at a typical Patagonian “estancia” (small holding), the “Estancia Perales”. After lunch you will board a motor dingy which will take you down the Serrano River to the “Torres del Paine” National Park. Day 13 TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour with English speaking guide in the “Torres del Paine” National Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and considered one of the most spectacular parks in the world: a real paradise for nature lovers and people who love hiking. The park is home to one of the largest condor reserves in South America. Short treks to the main view points of the park. Return to Puerto Natales and overnight stay at the Indigo Patagonia Hotel or a similar hotel of the same category. (Br)
